I. Classification by Mixing Method (Core Process Differences)

The mixing method directly determines the uniformity of the raw material mixture and is a key factor affecting the performance of polyurethane elastomer products. It is also the most fundamental classification dimension for CPU pouring machines.

1. High-pressure collision mixing type CPU pouring machine

Working principle: Using a high-pressure plunger pump, the A and B component raw materials are separately transported at a pressure of 10-25 MPa to the mixing head. Through the high-speed collision and shearing of the two components in the mixing chamber, instantaneous uniform mixing is achieved. The mixture is then directly poured into the mold; the mixing head has no stirring components and relies on fluid kinetic energy for mixing (also known as "no-stirring mixing").

Core features:

Highly uniform mixing, no raw material residue (the mixing head can be automatically cleaned to avoid component cross-contamination);

Fast mixing efficiency, suitable for raw material systems with fast reactions (such as MDI type polyurethane);

High equipment pressure, strong adaptability to raw material viscosity (can handle raw materials with a viscosity of ≤ 3000 mPa·s).

Applicable scenarios: High-end precision product production, such as automotive shock absorbers, hydraulic sealing rings, precision rubber rollers, medical elastic body components, etc., where the consistency of product performance is highly required.

2. Low-pressure stirring mixing type CPU pouring machine

Working principle: Using a low-pressure gear pump or screw pump to transport the A and B component raw materials at a pressure of 0.5-3 MPa to the mixing chamber. The chamber is equipped with a stirring paddle (usually a spiral or blade type), and the raw materials are mixed through the mechanical rotation of the stirring paddle. The mixture is then discharged through the pouring port.

Core features:

Lower equipment cost, simple structure, easy maintenance;

Slow mixing speed, suitable for raw material systems with gradual reactions (such as TDI type polyurethane);

The mixing chamber is prone to raw material residue, and it needs to be disassembled and cleaned regularly, which may cause batch-to-batch contamination.

Applicable scenarios: Mid-range general product production, such as ordinary industrial rubber rollers, shock pads, toy parts, simple seals, etc., where the performance consistency is not highly required.

II. Classification by Structural Form (Equipment Layout and Operating Mode)

Structural form depends on the production site space, product batch size, and automation requirements. It is mainly divided into the following 3 types:

1. Desktop (Tabletop) CPU Pouring Machine

Structural features: The equipment is integrated into a desktop-level frame, with a small size (length, width, and height usually ≤ 1.5m × 0.8m × 1.2m) and light weight (≤ 200kg), which can be placed on a workbench or a small production area; usually, it is manually or semi-automatically operated, with integrated metering pumps, mixing heads, and raw material tanks.

Core features: Small footprint, flexible mobility, low investment cost, suitable for small batch prototyping or small-scale product production.

Applicable scenarios: Laboratory research (formula debugging), small batch customized products (such as irregular sealing parts, small shock pads), small workshop-style production.

2. Floor-standing (Vertical) CPU Pouring Machine

Structural features: Adopting a vertical frame design, the raw material tanks (A/B components) are usually placed on the upper part of the frame, and the metering pump, mixing system, and control system are integrated in the middle. The pouring port faces downward; the equipment height is 1.8-2.5m, and the floor area is 0.8-1.5㎡, mostly semi-automatically operated (manual movement of the pouring head or mold).

Core features: Compact structure, convenient operation, balancing batch production and flexibility, is currently the most widely used type in the industrial field.

Applicable scenarios: Small-scale batch product production, such as rubber rollers, sealing rings, shoe soles, mine buffer blocks, etc.

3. Line-type (Integrated) CPU Pouring Machine

Structural features: Integrated with an automated production line (such as mold conveying line, heating curing furnace, demolding machine), the equipment includes multiple metering systems (compatible with multi-component raw materials, such as adding color pigments, additives), automatic mixing heads, mechanical arm pouring system, online cleaning system, and central control system; It is usually a large floor-standing structure and needs to be customized according to the production line layout.

Core features: High degree of automation (can achieve "raw material transportation - measurement - mixing - pouring - cleaning" full-process unmanned operation), high production efficiency, suitable for large-scale standardized products.

Applicable scenarios: Large-scale industrial batch production, such as shock absorber bushings in the automotive industry, elastic pads for rail transit, large-scale shoe sole production lines, continuous rubber plate production, etc.

III. Classified by measurement accuracy (dimension of product quality control)

Measurement accuracy determines the accuracy of the ratio of A and B components, directly affecting the cross-linking density and mechanical properties of polyurethane elastomers. According to the accuracy level, it can be divided into the following two categories:

1. Ordinary precision CPU pouring machine

Measurement accuracy: Ratio error ≤ ±2%, usually uses gear pumps for measurement (gear pumps have low cost, but are greatly affected by changes in raw material viscosity); the flow adjustment range is narrow (usually 1-50 kg/h).

Core features: Low cost, suitable for general products with low requirements for ratio accuracy, and low maintenance difficulty.

Applicable scenarios: Low value-added products, such as ordinary buffer blocks, toy wheels, simple sealing pads, etc.

2. High-precision CPU pouring machine

Measurement accuracy: Ratio error ≤ ±0.5%, some high-end models can reach ±0.1%; uses high-pressure piston pumps or servo screw pumps for measurement (piston pumps are less affected by viscosity, and servo control can adjust the flow in real time), equipped with high-precision flow sensors (such as Coriolis flow meters) for real-time feedback to achieve closed-loop control.

Core features: Strong ratio stability, can adapt to different viscosity raw materials (50-5000 mPa·s), wide flow adjustment range (0.5-200 kg/h), supports micro pouring (such as gram-level precision products).

Applicable scenarios: High value-added, high-performance products, such as aerospace sealing parts, medical implant-grade elastomers, precision instrument buffer components, high-pressure hydraulic sealing rings, etc.

IV. Classified by application scenarios (targeted functional design)

Some CPU pouring machines are customized for specific industry or product process requirements to form dedicated models, mainly including:

1. Rubber roller-specific CPU pouring machine

Customized functions: Equipped with "circular pouring head" (can uniformly pour around the rubber roller core shaft), supports "multi-layer pouring" (such as high elasticity core layer + high wear-resistant surface layer), the heating system of the raw material has high precision (the raw material temperature for rubber roller pouring needs to be strictly controlled ±1℃ to avoid bubbles).

Applicable scenarios: cylindrical elastic products such as printing rubber rollers, industrial conveying rubber rollers, paper-making rubber rollers, etc.

2. Shoe sole-specific CPU pouring machine

Customized functions: Multi-component measurement system (can add color paste and foaming agent simultaneously), the mixing head has "anti-drip" design (prevents raw material dripping and contamination of the shoe sole mold during pouring), linked with the shoe sole mold conveying line, supports rapid color change (cleaning system is efficient).

Applicable scenarios: Polyurethane shoe soles (especially seamless injection shoe soles), shoe insoles production.

3. Sealing part-specific CPU pouring machine

Customized functions: Micro measurement capability (minimum pouring volume can be as low as 5g), the mixing head is small (adapted to narrow pouring orifices of small sealing mold), equipped with a vacuum degassing system (prevents bubbles from forming inside the sealing part and affecting sealing performance).

Applicable scenarios: O-rings, Y-rings, dust-proof sealing parts, etc., small precision sealing products.

4. Large-scale product-specific CPU pouring machine Customization feature: High-flow measurement system (maximum flow rate up to 500kg/h), large mixing head diameter (to prevent raw materials from solidifying during pouring), equipped with raw material preheating tank (for high-viscosity raw materials required for large-sized products, preheating reduces viscosity for easier transportation), supports segmented pouring (to avoid uneven heat dissipation of raw materials in large molds).

Applicable scenarios: Large buffer blocks (such as those used in port machinery), polyurethane linings, large rubber wheels, etc.
