This set of equipment is specifically designed for the production of elastomer prepolymers, featuring two core components: a reaction tank and a dehydration tank. APPLICATION

The prepolymer method involves conducting the chain extension reaction (prepolymer reaction) and the chain extension-crosslinking reaction in two separate steps during CPU production. This allows the highly reactive reaction (the prepolymer reaction between polyols and isocyanates) sufficient time to proceed more thoroughly. The resulting prepolymer then reacts with the chain extender, producing an elastomer with a uniform structure. This facilitates the formation of hydrogen bonds between the hard segments of the polyurethane macromolecules, as well as between the hard segments and the strongly electronegative groups in the soft segments. As a result, the product exhibits excellent mechanical properties and good reproducibility. This equipment serves as a specialized prepolymer reaction vessel for the aforementioned method.
